ReplyDeleteIn my own small way, I have been investigating certain aspects of so-called greenhouse gas effects and today, I found this interesting exchange: http://www.eco-systems.org/response_to_widespread_forest_death_mapped_in_PA.htm between an academic muslin-sympathizing terrorist-palling-around-with elitist...and an humble and honest hardworking employee of the Bush era USFD.
It's so impressive and reassuring to know that our loyal spokespeople at federal agencies REFUSED to be intimidated by warmist-type pinky enviro hippies who attempt to make some link between burning fossil and biofuels and dead trees. What a ridiculous assertion!
So this bit of research into correspondence PROVES that the reason the foundation of our terrestrial ecosystem, that would be trees, is currently in free-fall collapse, accompanied by widespread crop failures unreported by the USDA has NOTHING to do with toxic emissions and is simply due to a bunch of invasive insects and fungi, the solution to which is to spray, spray, spray, petroleum based pesticides and fertilizers, everywhere, also.
Right?

ReplyDeleteIndeed. Over christmas I ate a lot of co2 enriched foods, which is probably the explaination for my increased emissions.
As to Christmas indulgences, oh well do continue, Our Hallowed Infernal Leader! I do realize this is beneath the elevated level of august blog science, but your reply caused me to consider - what do you think about a collaborative effort (amongst your more lowly readers, such as moi) to produce a special, blog-cookbook with recipes of particularly healthful, CO2 producing recipes since after al, CO2 is food for plants!
